Nov 1 – 7 | State of Minnesota Recognizes Gifted & Talented Youth Week

St. Croix Valley Gifted celebrates area GT youth and the educators, parents, and caregivers who ensure that these students experience the challenge, growth, and exploration that are necessary to help them blossom as human beings.

Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed November 1-7, 2015, Gifted and Talented Youth Week in Minnesota. In addition to recognizing the unique potential of these students, it is an excellent opportunity to recognize the contributions of the parents, educators, counselors and psychologists with whom they work. Their sustained efforts, coupled with the organized advocacy of the Minnesota Council for Gifted and Talented and the Minnesota Educators of Gifted and Talented, help make our state one in which gifted learners are honored and valued. – Minnesota Department of Education
