WEATHER ALERT for THURS 1/11 CHAT with Carol Maleug

There’s a winter weather advisory through Thursday 1/11, though the storm is expected to move out of the area around school dismissal time. As you well know, how the weather actually behaves vs. what the advance forecast models suggest makes a difference to what happens next.

UPDATE 5:20pm THURS | The snow is wrapping up in Washington County and activities are continuing as planned, so we will see you at Stillwater Middle School tonight!

Please pay attention to Stillwater Area Public Schools bulletins concerning plans to cancel or go forward with afternoon and evening activities. The school district is generally very good about notifying enrolled families by email or phone about these decisions, and typically also posts related updates on their main Facebook page.

Because our CHAT on acceleration with Carol Maleug is scheduled at Stillwater Middle School, a district decision to suspend evening activities for weather-related reasons automatically will mean a cancellation for our event. We will update this post accordingly based on the school district’s decision.

We are already in contact with Carol to arrange a re-schedule for February should that become necessary. Watch for updated information here at our website and via our next email newsletter as details get finalized.
