The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) has issued its 2014-2015 State of the States in Gifted Education biennial report. Look for Minnesota standings to be updated from 2012-2013 and compare to national programming standards for PreK-12 education. CogAT testing and GT identification dates for 2015-2016 students in elementary have been announced, as posted at the Stillwater Area Public Schools website: Only students with parent permission will be assessed. Testing accommodations will be considered only for students on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan. Parents and/or teachers may request CogAT testing for any student.
